On June 1, 2022, we held a Community Pride Month Celebration at the Glenview Public Library, co-hosted by Commissioner Scott Britton. Elected officials, community members and members of Glenview Pride were in attendance. Village of Glenview Trustee Gina DeBoni read a proclamation from Village President Mike Jenny. Others at the event.
Commissioner Scott Britton, State Senator Laura Fine, and Representative Jennifer Gong-Gershowitz were in attendance. In addition to Trustee Gina DeBoni, speakers included Judge John Ehrlich, candidate for the Illinois Appellate Court; judicial candidate Michael Weaver; Sue Ginsberg, co-president of PFLAG Deerfield; Sue Swaringen, president of the League of Women Voters of Glenview-Glencoe; and Jordan Combs, a member of Glenbrook South’s Sexuality and Gender Alliance.
